Inflexion, a leading European mid-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce that it is launching an ESG Academy for its portfolio companies. This new skills initiative will bring together a community of learners from across the Inflexion portfolio, each with a role to play in championing ESG within their organisation.

The Academy, which will be run by Inflexion’s delivery partner LDN apprenticeships, has 25 participants signed up from 13 of Inflexion’s portfolio companies in its first year. All participants will complete the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner apprenticeship. The broad curriculum will reflect skills that are key to delivering sustainable business practices. The experience will include expert-led training, masterclasses together with on-demand content, and each individual will have a dedicated skills coach to provide personalised guidance and support.

LDN apprenticeships is the UK’s first B Corp-certified dedicated apprenticeship provider, recognised for using business as a force for good and balancing profit with purpose. It provides tailored, government-funded ESG Academies empowering organisations to meet their Environmental, Social and Governance goals at scale.

Through the Academy, participants will gain the skills and expertise needed to put Inflexion’s ESG Framework into practice within their own organisations. The Framework guides Inflexion’s portfolio companies on their ESG journeys, setting out a roadmap in the key areas of strategy, carbon, D&I and external standards. The flexible structure allows companies to develop and refine their ESG strategies, regardless of their level of ESG maturity.
