The Inflexion Foundation is pleased to announce a long-term partnership with The Childhood Trust, a child poverty charity. The Inflexion Foundation has committed to a minimum grant of £50,000 per annum for the next three years.

The Childhood Trust is dedicated to alleviating the impact of poverty for children in the capital, supporting more than 250,000 vulnerable and disadvantaged children each year in London through their partnerships with c. 190 grassroot delivery partners. They achieve this through matched-funding campaigns that raise millions of pounds for vital community projects aligned with four key impact goals: that children are healthy, safe, confident and resilient. They also deliver volunteering programmes directly in the heart of communities providing immediate, practical support. The Trust’s research and advocacy programme give children and young people a voice, raising awareness of the causes and consequences of child poverty to help drive systemic change.

The work of The Childhood Trust is vitally important and makes a meaningful difference to the young people it reaches. Families have endured a prolonged period of disadvantage, with the cost-of-living crisis adding to the challenges of the last few years. We look forward to joining the Trust’s other donors and philanthropists in helping to improve the lives of children living in poverty in the capital OR in our community OR on our doorstep.
