Inflexion named 'Best Fundraising Firm - Co-investment'
Inflexion is delighted to announce that it has been named 'Best Fundraising Firm - Co-investment' for Supplemental Fund V LP at the Private Equity Wire European Awards 2022. The accolade recognises excellence among private equity fund managers and service providers in Europe across a wide range of categories.
Winners were determined via an online poll of the Private Equity Wire userbase from a shortlist devised by Bloomberg data. The selection considered all funds managed by UK- and European-headquartered GPs, grouped them into their respective vintages, and ranked on the basis of their net IRRs as of the end of September 2021.
The achievement comes after a record year for Inflexion which saw eight divestments, 12 new investments, 97 add-on acquisitions for the current portfolio, and a £2.5bn fundraise for its Buyout Fund VI. The last divestment of 2021 was the sale of Halo Technology, which generated a 6x money multiple and 53% IRR for investors in Inflexion funds after profits increased by nearly 10x during the four-year partnership. 2022 has already seen the sale of Alcumus generate a return of 5.9x and the largest ever cash return for Inflexion.
We are delighted to have been recognised for the excellent returns we generate for our investors. The data-driven method of these awards combined with the peer voting makes us very proud, and we are grateful to Private Equity Wire and their readership for their support.
