Inflexion expands value creation team

Inflexion Private Equity today announces the appointment of Tom Green as Value Enhancement Director. He starts with immediate effect and will work alongside Jon Andrew to support strategic and operational value creation within Inflexion’s portfolio. Tom’s appointment strengthens Inflexion’s existing value creation team which includes international portfolio support offices in Brazil, India and China, and in-house digital expertise.

Tom joins Inflexion from CPA Global, where he was Corporate Development Director of the Cinven-backed IP legal services business, focused on driving growth both organically and through the origination and execution of bolt-on acquisitions across North America and Europe. Tom started his career in consulting with Capgemini before moving to transaction services at Deloitte where he led due diligence and post-deal performance improvement projects for private equity houses and corporate clients.

Simon Turner, Managing Partner at Inflexion, commented “We are delighted Tom has joined our value creation team, broadening our ability to support portfolio management teams in growing and enhancing their businesses. Our established team offers a number of levers to help accelerate growth and drive value, helping us maximise returns for all shareholders. Notably our digital and international capability contributed to many of our 2015 exit successes.”

Tom Green commented “Inflexion has a market-leading track record achieved by a group of highly talented, entrepreneurial people constantly looking for new and exciting ways to support value growth within its portfolio companies. The nature of the mid-market presents plenty of opportunity to effect rapid change. I’m delighted to be joining such an ambitious team and look forward to contributing to its future success.”

Tom’s appointment takes the size of Inflexion’s investment team to more than 30 following the hiring of Andrew Priest as a Director in the origination team and the new investment executives who joined in 2015.
