Carl is a member of the Investment Committee and is responsible for running the Manchester office. He focuses on meeting ambitious, entrepreneurial management teams and executing buyout opportunities, principally in northern England and Scotland.

Carl works across a wide range of sectors. He joined Inflexion in 2015, his twentieth year in the private equity industry. He has led our investments in Creative Car Park, UK FastMountain Warehouse, Bollington Wilson Group and Cawood Scientific. He also subsequently led the successful exits of Cawood scientific and Bollington Wilson Group.

Born in Liverpool, Carl is a keen (and increasingly optimistic) LFC fan. In addition to working with entrepreneurs, he enjoys most sports (more watching than participating nowadays) and is a keen long-distance runner, having completed six marathons. Carl enjoys spending his spare time with his family, mainly helping his wife taxi their three young children around Cheshire. He has a degree in Accounting and Finance from Liverpool University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
