Inflexion created the largest independent broker in the North of England with the buyout and simultaneous merger of Bollington Insurance Brokers and F Wilsons Insurance Brokers in 2017 before its sale to a US-listed trade buyer. 

The Group provides a holistic product offering complemented by several niche specialisms operating across a range of distribution channels, leveraging a nationwide team of specialist account managers and a leading digital proposition. At the time of the sale, the Group was operating across seven offices and employing more than 400 people. 

Value acceleration 

Capitalising on our track record in acquisitive growth, Inflexion supported the business in its successful integration and its subsequent M&A strategy, which saw five add-ons expand its product offering and regional presence. Inflexion also supported investment into digital distribution channels and an improved underwriting capacity.  In 2021, Inflexion sold the company to one of the UK's leading independent insurance brokers, US-listed Arthur J. Gallagher.
