Inflexion is backing Ranger Fire and Security ("Ranger") as it builds a one-stop fire and security services platform across the UK and Ireland, bringing together trusted local businesses on a single national group with the scale, systems and ambition to expand into continental Europe.

Ranger is a leading fire and security services provider, offering a one-stop solution to businesses, charities and public sector organisations. The business brings together high-performing local companies on a single national platform, combining their established and trusted reputations for first-class customer service with the reach and resources of a national group. To date Ranger has acquired 25 businesses across the UK and Ireland, employs over 500 people and generates revenues of more than £75 million.

Value acceleration 

Inflexion's investment is supporting Ranger to continue acquiring high-performing local businesses, a core part of its growth strategy, and to scale its operations to deliver best-in-class service. Together these measures are advancing Ranger's ambition to build a truly national fire and security services platform, with the potential to expand into continental Europe in future. Existing investor Hyperion Equity Partners has reinvested substantially alongside Inflexion to support the company's long-term strategic goals.

Ranger also draws on Inflexion's significant experience in the sector, including its investment in Noventis Safety, a global group dedicated to designing and delivering advanced test and measurement solutions for the fire protection industry, and Marioff, a global leader in high-pressure water mist fire suppression.
