Inflexion backed Primed Group, a specialist German provider of high-quality single-use medical consumables and sterilisation services, to accelerate its growth in Germany and internationally.

Founded in 1946 and headquartered in Halberstadt, Germany, Primed designs, manufactures and distributes certified single-use medical consumables through a vertically integrated platform that spans the full value chain, from compounding to final sterile product. Its MDR-certified products are used in over 70 countries, supplying hospitals and medical care facilities. The business employs more than 450 people and also operates HA2, one of Europe’s largest medical sterilisation platforms.

Value acceleration 

Inflexion is supporting Primed to build on its strong platform and expand further in Germany and internationally, continuing to invest in the core product range, accelerating product development and driving further growth in the sterilisation business. International expansion is being pursued through targeted acquisitions and investment in commercial capabilities that strengthen Primed’s direct access to customers in key markets.

To help execute the strategy, Inflexion has partnered with healthcare leaders Wolfgang Suessle and Justin Barnes, who together, bring complementary expertise and a strong track record of scaling healthcare businesses to help execute Primed's growth strategy. Primed is Inflexion’s third healthcare investment in the region.
