Inflexion backed the launch of MAP, a new German multi-specialist insurance broker, bringing its proven buy-and-build playbook in specialist broking to the DACH region for the first time.

Mittelstands-Assekuranz-Partner (MAP) is a Munich-headquartered, technology-driven broker serving German mid-market companies, commercial clients and high-net-worth private clients. Founded by industry veterans Mathias Pahl (CEO) and Markus Hausberger (CFO), and chaired by Tim Wright, it combines regional client proximity with specialist risk advisory and a clear focus on digitalisation and artificial intelligence.

Value acceleration 

Inflexion is supporting MAP's development into a leading mid-sized German insurance broking platform through a disciplined buy-and-build strategy, drawing on the playbook executed with DR&P, Bollington Wilson and Ascend Broking in the UK. The platform launched with the acquisition of Cremer Assekuranz, a long-established Düsseldorf-based commercial lines broker whose Managing Director Kolja Zweering joins the MAP management team as an owner.

Inflexion is helping MAP build a regional hub-and-spoke model with centralised M&A, finance and technology functions, and embed artificial intelligence from day one, so partner brokers can retain their identity and entrepreneurial culture while focusing on client servicing and growth.
