In 2022 Inflexion invested in Blue Light Card, the UK’s leading closed user-group discount marketplace serving the 'Blue Light' community of key workers. 

Blue Light Card provides retailer discounts for people that work in the UK’s emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces (together known as 'blue light workers'). The business is an omnichannel consumer marketplace and offers discounts at over 14,000 retailers to its verified closed group audience of over 4.5 million members. The majority of transactions occur through Blue Light Card’s leading app. Over the last year Blue Light Card has saved its members over £350m.  

Value acceleration  

Inflexion is using its expertise in growing digital-first businesses to support the management team at Blue Light Card to continue to broaden the range of discounts offered, improve member personalisation, and drive even greater savings for its member base. 

Inflexion has helped BLC evaluate international expansion opportunities and has supported the launch of BLC in Australia.

BLC is working closely with Inflexion’s digital team to further develop its product, user experience and member sign-up and services function.
