Jan is the Director for Data & AI in the Value Acceleration team, helping to drive commercial success with data, machine learning and AI at portfolio companies and Inflexion itself.
Jan previously worked at the Boston Consulting Group as Lead Data Scientist and Project Leader, where he engaged with clients in a wide range of sectors and use cases.
He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge in the field of Quantum Information.
Outside of work, Jan continues to follow his passion and has built the deep-learning-based "PyTorch Forecasting" library with 100k+ monthly downloads. Away from the screen, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling to new places and sampling local cuisine.
