Inflexion has raised a record £45,000 for the Kinetic Foundation through its annual football tournament, which took place this week for the fifth consecutive year. Twenty-five teams from Inflexion's adviser network participated, each making a £1,750 donation to the charity, with a further contribution by a spectating team. Since the tournament's inception, Inflexion and its adviser network have collectively raised £132,000 for Kinetic.

The Kinetic Foundation is a London-based football and education charity dedicated to supporting young people from low-income households, the most deprived areas of the UK, and historically marginalised ethnic backgrounds to remain in education and successfully transition into employment, further training, university, or the professional game. Since its founding, 12,250 young people have been supported through its programmes. 97% of Kinetic Academy graduates go on to further education, employment or training, and 83 participants have signed for professional football clubs.

In May 2025, the Inflexion Foundation announced an enhanced three-year grant commitment of £100,000 per annum to Kinetic, doubling its previous support of £50,000 per year between 2022 and 2025. The funding is enabling Kinetic to expand participation, improve its Kinetic Futures curriculum, and extend its reach to young Londoners through lower academic entry programmes.

Reaching our fifth year of this tournament and a cumulative total of over £132,000 is a reflection of what this partnership has grown into. The commitment shown by Inflexion and their adviser network is extraordinary, and it has a direct and tangible impact on the young people we support.

The tournament has become a genuine fixture in our calendar, and one that the whole team looks forward to. Beyond the day itself, it is a reminder of the difference that a committed network can make, and of the exceptional work that Kinetic does for young people across London.
