Yesterday we hosted the sixth Inflexion Annual Diversity Exchange, bringing together women leaders from across our diverse portfolio, each nominated by their Chairs and CEOs as rising stars in their businesses.
Around 100 attendees joined us for an afternoon focused on making new connections, sharing experiences and building practical skills.
The day was opened by Inflexion Partner and Head of Business Services Isabelle Pagnotta, before a thought-provoking fireside conversation with Lilia Santos, CFO of premium skincare brand Medik8, moderated by Inflexion Chief People Officer Freddy West.
The second session, AI: From Hype to Habit, brought together Inflexion Senior Data Analyst Rory Cooke, Purnima Sen, Chief Operating Officer at Sparta Global, and Mike Weston, Head of AI Faculty at Sparta Global for a hands-on session exploring how AI can support better decisions, greater efficiency and create more time for the things that benefit most from human judgement.
Lauren Livingston and Helene Thomas, Executive Coaches at The PE Collective, led a session on building confidence and influence in the workplace, helping attendees reflect on their individual strengths, understand which to focus on to have the greatest impact, and consider how to apply them more deliberately in their roles and careers.
Inflexion Head of Marketing & Communications Sarah Gestetner brought the formal programme to a close, including an introduction to Smart Works and its work supporting unemployed women with interview clothing and coaching. Smart Works is one of the charities backed by the Inflexion Foundation and we were also pleased to contribute through a clothing drive on the day.
Guests then stayed on for drinks and networking, continuing the conversations and connections from the day.
Thank you to all our speakers and to everyone who joined us. We remain committed to fostering diversity and inclusion across Inflexion and our portfolio, and to creating opportunities for talented leaders to connect, learn and support one another.
