We recently welcomed charity partners of the Inflexion Foundation to our office for a practical session on getting started with AI - covering where to begin, which tools to use, and how to apply them in day-to-day work. Around 45 attendees joined from across our charity network.
The session was led alongside members of the Inflexion Foundation Committee, guiding attendees through accessible entry points to AI and sharing practical tips and tricks for charity teams looking to build confidence and capability. The focus was firmly on what works, what to watch out for, and how to start using AI without specialist resource.
We were also joined by Ashurst, who explored the legal considerations of AI use - an area increasingly front of mind for charity leaders. The session covered data handling, confidentiality, and the practical guardrails organisations should have in place.
Attendees left with a set of tangible AI use cases to apply in their own roles, ensuring there was a clear, actionable take-away from the session.
The evening concluded with drinks and canapés, giving charity leaders the opportunity to continue the conversation, share experiences, and connect with peers across the Foundation’s network. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to building on this with further support for our charity partners.
