Inflexion supported engineering specialist PD&MS to diversify its operations and enter the emerging renewables and energy transition market before its sale to RSK Group. 

PD&MS is a specialist provider of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for the global energy markets. Its core capability is brownfield design engineering services, utilising sophisticated project planning and design software tools to service drilling and production operators throughout the oil, gas and renewable energy markets. PD&MS’s established operations in the North Sea and Azerbaijan and strong customer relationships meant it works with major blue-chip operators such as BP and Apache enabling them to design more energy efficient operations. Inflexion sold its investment to RSK Group, a global leader in the delivery of sustainable solutions. 

Value acceleration 

During the investment period, Inflexion supported PD&MS as it successfully navigated a challenging oil and gas market and diversified its operations, including entering the emerging renewables and energy transition market.  Inflexion supported PD&MS to complete two complementary acquisitions which added technical capability and accelerated PD&MS' position in the highly attractive energy sustainability market. PD&MS’s customer base was broadened through these initiatives enabling the securing of significant long-term framework agreements.
