The company

Glasgow-based Goals was founded in 1987 and operates more than 400 5-a-side and 7-a-side flood-lit football arenas across 44 locations, promoting health, fitness, friendly competition, and community spirit.

The Inflexion investment

Inflexion invested in Goals in October 2019. During Inflexion’s investment, the management team improved the efficiency of the business and enhanced both the customer offering and experience, continuing to invest in the installation of the latest ProTurf pitch surfaces, and launching a new website and mobile app.

The Inflexion difference

Inflexion backed the business’s founders to return to the business they founded over thirty years ago. We used our expertise to support the management team to professionalise the business, improve their facilities and enhance their digital offering. We also supported the team during the challenges of COVID ensuring the business continued to perform strongly.

The partnership with Inflexion has enabled us to return to the business we love and take Goals to the next level. The business is well placed for future growth and to continue to offer a healthy way of socialising for people across the UK.
