Inflexion invested in European LifeCare Group, the largest provider of vaccinations in Europe, in 2018 before agreeing to sell its shareholding in 2025 to a European private equity group.

Founded in 1998, European LifeCare Group operates 84 specialist vaccination clinics across Denmark, the UK, the Netherlands and Sweden, providing travel and general health vaccinations as well as mass immunisation programmes. For over 20 years, ELCG has been a preferred partner for the delivery of public vaccination programmes for the Danish authorities and the UK NHS. In recent years, the company has expanded to support vaccine clinical trials for leading pharmaceutical companies, partnering with industry leaders such as Sanofi and Pfizer.

Value acceleration   

Inflexion supported ELCG’s transformation from a travel vaccination provider into a leading preventative healthcare platform with a footprint across Northern Europe. With our support, the management team capitalised on growing demand for vaccination services, delivering strong organic growth through enhanced direct‑to‑consumer marketing and a trusted reputation with public healthcare systems. Inflexion supported founder‑led succession and strengthened the leadership bench with key appointments, while ELCG leveraged Inflexion’s Digital team to elevate its digital marketing strategy.

Under Inflexion’s ownership, ELCG completed four acquisitions and expanded into the Benelux and Swedish markets, nearly tripling revenue. The clinic estate increased by 65 percent, headcount grew sixfold, and annual vaccinations rose fourteenfold to over 3 million.
