In 2023, Inflexion supported the merger of Norway-based EcoOnline with the software division of Alcumus to create a new leader in environmental, health and safety software. 

EcoOnline is a Norway-based EHS SaaS market leader which develops software for creating safer and sustainable workplaces while ensuring compliance and environmental sustainability. EcoOnline has a large presence in the UK, Ireland, and the US.  

Value acceleration 

Inflexion is using its significant software sector experience to support EcoOnline to expand into new markets and strengthen its position as a global EHS software leader. The business made one acquisition shortly after the initial investment (Econometrica) to increase its presence in the UK and add a new adjacent offering to cross-sell into the existing customer base. 

Inflexion had previously invested in technology-led risk management and compliance solutions specialist Alcumus and supported six strategic acquisitions and international expansion. Inflexion subsequently reinvested for a minority stake and so remains close to the company.
