In 2013, Inflexion provided minority funding to compliance software business CMO to drive growth. In 2016, CMO was sold to Mitratech, a US-headquartered global software provider. 

CMO provides enterprise health, safety, environment (HSE) and governance, risk, compliance (GRC) software solutions for global corporations and regulators. 

CMO serves blue-chip customers including Maersk Group, KPMG, Heathrow Airport and BHP. Operating in a large global market enjoying double-digit annual growth, demand for CMO’s products is driven by an increased need for configurable compliance software, increasing regulation as well as the increasing cost of non-compliance.

Value acceleration 

Having created a best-in-class product suite, CMO sought a partner who could introduce them to skilled individuals to add depth to their team and strengthen their operations to ensure their corporate infrastructure kept pace with their sales growth. They were drawn to Inflexion’s flexible minority solution.
