Chambers transitioned to B2B information services business through Inflexion’s stewardship before a £400m sale to Abry Partners. Inflexion made a minority re-investment into Chambers after the 2023 sale. 

Chambers and Partners is an independent research, data and analytics company founded in 1990 that operates across 200 jurisdictions to deliver detailed data insights into the world's leading lawyers and law firms.  

Ranking individuals and law firms, the business connects them to general counsels and buyers of legal services and supports their marketing, business development and recruitment activities. Chambers also produces firm analytics, business information tools and practice guides, all empowering organisations to make informed decisions when selecting legal services or optimising the management of law firms. 

Value acceleration

Inflexion supported the buy-in management team to build out the c-suite and develop a digital product portfolio, upgrade its premises, invest in a world-class digital team which embraced AI to drive efficiencies, and develop the sales and marketing proposition. Our international experts worked with the management team to support in-country expansion opportunities in the Americas and Asia.
