AE Live (formally Alston Elliot) provides premium data-driven graphics solutions for live sports broadcasts. Inflexion backed the buyout of AE Live in 2017. 

Live sport is uniquely appealing to broadcasters and advertisers as many other programmes have moved to catch-up streaming. New technologies are powering the rapid growth of sports viewing through mobile devices, and the business employs over 250 people in London, Johannesburg, New Delhi and Melbourne. Clients include Sky, BBC, ESPN and FIFA.

Value acceleration 

AE Live has grown strongly in international markets, with Inflexion providing support in Asia and the US. In the US, the business has established an office and is in commercial discussions with national broadcasters. AE Live acquired APAC based Ignite, which significantly expands the presence in the region and brings additional service offerings. It has also focused on its US expansion, and recently acquired Silver Spoon to bring additional AR services capabilities, alongside its graphic rendering technology, to its US client base having recently successfully done the augmented reality work for the Super Bowl.  

Inflexion’s in-house digital team is helping management as it develops its software to improve the quality of its offering, while our talent team has helped to build out the leadership team.
