The Inflexion Foundation makes significant donation to International Medical Corps UK
The Inflexion Foundation is pleased to announce that it has made a significant donation to International Medical Corps UK, a charity working to relieve the suffering of those impacted by war, natural disaster and disease. The Inflexion Foundation has committed a grant of £25,000 to support the charity’s vital work.
Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, International Medical Corps UK is a global first responder. It delivers emergency healthcare and related services to those affected by conflict, disaster and disease. The charity then trains people in their communities, providing them with the skills they need to recover, chart their own path to self-reliance and become effective first responders themselves. Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that strengthen underserved communities worldwide.
International Medical Corps UK carries out vital work throughout the world, providing aid, assistance and skills to those who desperately need it. It has the flexibility to respond rapidly to any emergency, and after the initial response, its work in promoting self-reliance and strengthening local systems makes a lasting difference to communities. We are delighted to be able to support the charity’s important work.
We are extremely grateful to The Inflexion Foundation for its generous donation and for believing in our work. These funds will make a real difference to some of the most underserved communities in the world as they recover from conflict, disaster and disease. Due to several complex and protracted crises, humanitarian needs globally are sadly at an all-time high, making donations like this more vital than ever.
