Inflexion invests in Reed & Mackay’s next phase of growth
Inflexion is pleased to announce that it has invested in Reed & Mackay, a premium corporate travel management company delivering a personalised service through cutting edge technology.
Reed & Mackay’s strategic travel management services focus on law firms, insurance companies, finance houses and the energy sector. The business is headquartered in London, with offices in Aberdeen, Philadelphia and Dubai; the two international offices having been established within the last year, predominantly servicing the international requirements of its existing UK customers.
Inflexion is backing the ambitious management team to further drive organic growth, both in the UK and selected international markets, together with targeted acquisitive growth to support expansion of its international footprint. Inflexion’s Value Enhancement team is already working with the management team to support further development of the company’s leading technology infrastructure.
Simon Turner, Managing Partner at Inflexion, commented: “We’re delighted to be investing in Reed & Mackay and working alongside its ambitious team to support the next phase of growth, both in the UK and overseas markets. Reed & Mackay is a classic Inflexion investment; great team, superior technology platform and superior service driving exceptional growth. We bring experience from across the travel sector both with consumer brands, Scott Dunn and On the Beach, where bespoke technology also played a significant part in growth and differentiation, and corporate travel through Griffin Global Group, all successful multinational businesses.”
Fred Stratford, CEO of Reed & Mackay, commented: “Inflexion shares our vision for the next stage of Reed & Mackay’s growth. The team’s travel sector experience coupled with their knowledge and understanding of supporting international growth made them the ideal partner for us. We look forward to expanding our footprint and continuing to deliver service excellence to our clients.”
The investment was led by Mark Williams, Gareth Healy and Phil Edmans. Gareth and Mark will join the board post completion.
Inflexion was advised by Deloitte.
