The Inflexion Foundation is pleased to announce a series of new funding commitments to charity partners focused on improving life chances for young people and protecting the environment.
The Foundation is building on a number of long standing relationship:
- Roundhouse: £340,000 over three years, to continue to support empower young people into with life-changing opportunities through creativity, delivered through an iconic music and arts venue.
- The King’s Trust: £150,000 per annum for three years to support its work helping young people to build skills, access training and move into education, employment and enterprise.
- London Wildlife Trust: £60,000 per annum for three years to help protect and restore nature across the capital and to support community engagement with urban green spaces.
The Foundation has also approved the following new grants:
- Smart Works: £50,000 for one year to support its work providing women with clothing, coaching and confidence to succeed at job interviews and secure employment.
- Magic Breakfast: £50,000 for one year to help deliver nutritious breakfasts to children at risk of hunger, so they can start the school day ready to learn.
Alongside these financial commitments, Inflexion and its portfolio companies will provide significant pro bono support, including skills based volunteering, mentoring and strategic advice, to help the charities deepen and scale their impact.
Through the Inflexion Foundation we aim to build long term partnerships with outstanding charities that give young people the chance to fulfil their potential and help protect the environment. Our renewed support for existing partners and our new commitments will receive meaningful funding combined with sustained pro bono support from our team and portfolio companies. Together we hope to help these organisations reach more people, build resilience and deliver lasting impact.
