Inflexion reduces carbon impact related to travel

Inflexion is pleased to announce plans to reduce its carbon impact related to travel through the purchase of Sustainable Aviation Fuel™, an initiative fostered between Neste, a renewable fuel producer, and Reed & Mackay, a corporate travel specialist. The partnership enables Inflexion to significantly reduce the environmental impact of its business travel.

Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel is made from sustainably sourced renewable waste and residue raw materials. In its neat form and over the life cycle, Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80%* as compared to fossil jet fuel use. The fuel enables significant reductions in flying-related emissions, giving businesses an opportunity to contribute to reportable emission reductions with Science-Based Targets (SBTs). With this, companies can show progress towards their emission reduction goals and leadership in the ongoing fight against climate change. Reed & Mackay last month announced a partnership to offer Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™ to all Reed & Mackay clients.

Reed & Mackay partnered with Inflexion for nearly five years before its sale to TripActions earlier this year, during which time six acquisitions were supported whilst six new international offices were opened.

We’re proud to be the first UK corporate to support this landmark sustainability initiative. ESG is increasingly important to everything we do as a firm and through this partnership, we can now reduce our flying-related emissions, thereby contributing to our overall journey towards net-zero.
