Our Managing Partners, John Hartz and Simon Turner, founded the business in 1999 with a borrowed office, two desks, two telephones, one computer and no money. We now have one of the largest mid-market teams in the UK, complemented by portfolio support offices in Brazil, China and India, together with a blue chip investor base.

We are phenomenally passionate about the companies we invest in. We work in partnership with management teams and a key part of our role is providing strategic support. This combination of strategic, entrepreneurial and delivery experience helps our portfolio businesses grow rapidly and maximises returns for all.
