James is an Investment Director and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and managing investment opportunities. He was involved in our investment in Chambers and Partners.

Prior to joining Inflexion in October 2017, James was an Assistant Director at Rothschild, where he worked in their M&A team across a variety of sectors in both public and private markets. Prior to this, James worked in the corporate finance advisory team at Deloitte, focused on mid-market private equity and corporate transactions, where he also obtained his chartered accountancy qualification.

James has a first-class degree in Chemistry from the University of Manchester and outside of work is a keen sports fan (particularly football and rugby) as well as enjoying the occasional round of golf.
