Inflexion raises £240,000 for Impetus

On Saturday 4th July, 32 Inflexion employees and representatives from its portfolio completed the Impetus Triathlon. Through the generosity of Inflexion’s portfolio companies, advisers and valued network, the team raised over £120,000.  This has been matched by the Inflexion Foundation, making a total of over £240,000 raised for Impetus.

Impetus transforms the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by ensuring they get the right support to succeed in school, in work and in life. The money raised will support charities and social enterprises with a track record of helping young people, providing management support, pro bono expertise and funding to scale the services they provide.

Simon Turner, Managing Partner, Inflexion and Trustee, Impetus commented: “Inflexion is incredibly passionate about supporting young people’s access to education and career opportunities. We are extremely grateful to all those who donated and are pleased to be able to match their donations through the Inflexion Foundation.  It was fantastic that so many athletes competed, challenging themselves physically and raising an incredible amount to transform the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.”

Harriet Gugenheim, Director of Philanthropy, Impetus commented: “Once again, Inflexion and their clients have triumphed at our triathlon. They are showing just how support from the very top and dedication across all levels of the firm can achieve incredible results, raising thousands of pounds for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds across the UK. With their support, and others in the sector, we can get the right support to these young people to transform their lives."
