Inflexion becomes a patron of The Prince’s Trust

The Prince’s Trust helps disadvantaged young people aged 13 – 30 who are struggling at school, are in or leaving care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. Through a variety of programmes they offer practical and financial support, giving young people the confidence and skills they need to realise their potential and transform their futures. Last year The Trust supported 46,000 young people into employment, further education or training. They also enabled nearly 3,500 budding young entrepreneurs to fulfil their ambitions and achieve financial independence through enterprise, creating employment for themselves and others.

By becoming a Silver Patron of the Group, Inflexion is supporting community investment activities, helping disadvantaged young people to make a success of their lives. The Inflexion team will take part in fundraising challenges and work directly with young people on voluntary programmes to support The Prince’s Trust.

Simon Turner, Managing Partner of Inflexion commented: “We are incredibly passionate about fostering entrepreneurial spirit at grass roots level, particularly for those with the drive and resilience to overcome past obstacles and turn their lives around. We have been extremely impressed with the team at The Prince’s Trust and the incredible work that they do to help young people realise their potential. We are proud to support them and look forward to a long and successful partnership”.

Martina Milburn, Chief Executive of The Prince’s Trust, said “I’d like to say thank you to Inflexion Private Equity LLP for their support for The Prince’s Trust. We believe there is a powerful financial argument for supporting our young people. They can become the teachers, nurses, plumbers and builders we’ll all rely on in the future. They can be the innovators and entrepreneurs and leaders. In short they are our tomorrow. We are very proud to have Inflexion as a Silver Patron of The Prince’s Trust. Together we can make the most enormous difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people across the UK.”
