Inflexion makes further appointment

Inflexion Private Equity, the mid-market private equity investor, today announces the recruitment of Malcolm Coffin as Investment Executive to further strengthen its investment team.

Malcolm joins Inflexion from NM Rothschild & Sons where he worked in the Consumer Products M&A team as Assistant Manager. In this role he was involved in all aspects of the M&A process including valuation and transaction execution including AG Barr’s acquisition of Strathmore Mineral Water and Dairy Crest’s acquisition of St Hubert. Prior to this Malcolm trained as a chartered accountant at Deloitte & Touche.

In his role at Inflexion, Malcolm will be working within the investment team in the Manchester office evaluating and analysing prospective transactions, as well as contributing to the origination of new opportunities throughout the UK. Malcolm’s arrival follows on from Nicola Boyd’s appointment to the London office in October. Nicola and Malcolm’s arrival are indicative of the company’s dynamic growth following its high levels of deal activity which include the acquisition of a stake in Jack Wills, the British preppy premium clothing retailer.

Simon Turner, Managing Partner said: “We are proud of Inflexion’s success and development, which has only been possible due to the team’s hard work and great expertise. I am certain Malcolm’s arrival will be a useful and valuable addition to the group.”
