National Accident Helpline (NAHL Group plc) has grown to be the UK’s leading consumer marketing business focused on the personal injury market, providing solicitor firms with new customers and associated services.
Seeking to grow further in the UK market through organic and acquisitive growth, NAH was looking for investment from a supportive partner.
Inflexion worked closely with NAH’s ambitious management team to implement strategic changes that drove the company’s impressive growth over its five year ownership period. Inflexion sourced and negotiated the acquisition of PPI Claimline and subsequently worked with the team to change the business model as the regulatory environment changed. Another notable development was the creation of ‘The Underdog’ animated marketing campaign, which proved very successful and led to a 50 percent increase in enquiry volumes in 2013 compared to pre-Underdog levels.
During the period of our partnership capital investment in National Accident Helpline earnings grew by around 30 percent.
Inflexion retains a 15% shareholding in NAHL Group and retains its original investment in PPI Claimline.
